I was born February 1978 into a military family. I spent the next 15 years of my life traveling to
all of the corners of the country as well as some time overseas. Upon my Dad's retirement it
was time to go home. Northern Idaho held the roots to our family and that is what brought me
here.

I currently reside in the sleepy little town of Bayview, Idaho along with my wonderful wife and
two crazy children. I'm surrounded every day by an incredible extended family that has grown
over the years and continues to be an important part of my live.

I graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1996 with plans to become an architect. Dreams
changed and over the years I've settled into the technology area instead of a more
creative/artistic occupation.

I've not always had a passion for photography, but have always desired a creative outlet. I
purchased my first digital camera not long after my son was born. Over the last few years I've
become attached to my camera, using it to express my creative side. At first it was intended
just to capture those family moments, then I grew to use photography to explore many areas
of the world, but have found my passion and joy in photographing people. The expressions
that can be captured and the moments shared with a photograph are priceless.

I have a strong connection to fellow photographers that are willing to share their experiences
and expertise. I learn and am inspired every day by them and give back as much as I possibly
can.

The only joy greater in my life than photography is my family, but they'll always find me with
my camera pointed in their direction.
